POSITION SUMMARY: alice + olivia is seeking a dynamic Social Media leader to develop and implement innovative platform and creative content strategies that drive Social Media channel growth, community engagement and e-commerce revenue.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Partnering with CEO/Founder and VP of Integrated Marketing to develop best-in-class Social Media strategies that deliver on the brand’s unique tone of voice and positioning. 

  • Developing multi-channel commercial strategies, the drive revenue across all Social Media Channels; increasing YoY traffic and revenue contributions from all channels 

  • Developing and executing social-first campaigns, including Social Giveaways, Influencer & talent activations, Brand Campaigns and Brand partnerships.  

  • Management of content calendar, Social Media content deliverables and leads day-to-day activities to maintain all social network accounts and communications on platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. 

  • Lead concepting & ideas, brief, and motivate the Creative Services team to consistently deliver unique, social first brand content (Instagram, Tiktok, etc) 

  • Manage the workflow and creative team members to product organic content 

  • Collaborate efficiently with Creative Services, Digital Marketing, Communications and Ecomm to develop impactful Social Media marketing calendar and activities that deliver business and brand results. 

  • Work lock step with Integrated Marketing to ensure coordinated social launches for all 360 communications  

  • Project management: Prioritize projects, secure deadlines and ensure deliverables are met by the team, including daily creative requests for Social Media content. 

  • Partner with Director of Influencer to build and manage a trackable social influencer program to support monthly product priorities and extend social presence beyond owned channels 

  • Be a true brand ambassador, demonstrates deep understanding of the brand, visual identity, target audience and represents and articulates brand promise and value 

  • Analyze data and performance and real time, updating Executive team on performance and optimizing strategies and content accordingly.  

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 5+ years of experience managing social media marketing, preferably with a fashion brand. Account management experience in a marketing agency strongly desired. 

  • Early adopter of new platforms, systems, and tools for creating content nimbly. 

  • Track record of driving results through creating and managing social media content, audience development and engagement. 

  • Knowledge of and a passion for fashion, trending news, culture and social media topics that influence consumer behavior.  

  • Ability to use creative thinking and a strong data-orientation and analytical mindset. 

  • Creative, strategic and collaborative approach to problem solving. 

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to interact with senior leaders.  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to write clear compelling content and use storytelling to build engagement.  

  • Resourcefulness and resilience; ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field. 

  • Preferred experience as content creator with ability to shoot and edit content  

  • Nimbleness to quickly and efficiently bring concepts to life 

  • Strong understanding of the influencer landscape and ability to propose new brand-relevant talent 

  • Talent and Influencer relationships a plus 

  • $110,000 - $140,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other AO employees.)
