POSITION TITLE:  Receiving Clerk

DEPARTMENT: Distribution

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

LOCATION:  Secaucus, NJ

JOB TYPE: Full Time, on-site


POSITION SUMMARY: The Receiving Clerk will be working in the warehouse on-site 5 days a week. Hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with one 40 minute lunch break.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Works with receiving department to process in-bound shipments

·         Assists warehouse supervision establishing priorities for in-bound shipments

·         Using packing lists and receiving reports, ensures inventory receipts are recorded correctly and in a timely manner

·         Works with logistics team to process and follow-up on any claims to resolve discrepancies in receiving

·         Ensures product weights are recorded in Company ERP system

·         Assists with inventory reconciliation when needed

·         Supports quality control and returns departments and assists with putaways as needed

·         Other warehouse duties as requested by management


ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Ability to lift/move cartons up to 50 pounds

·         Capable of operating hand trucks

·         Positive, can-do attitude

·         Works well in a team environment

·         Desire to learn and grow

·         Strong work ethic

·         Must be fluent (speak, read, and write) in English

 


 

BENEFITS:

·         $15.50 - $16.50/hour base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NJ - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other AO employees.)
